is only just outside London. On Site you may find you are sharing a pitch with rabbits
and squirrels.
Please be advised that re-development works will be carried out on site from 12 April to 28 May 2010, weekdays only, site facilities will not be affected.

What's on?
- London is only 13 miles away. It has
numerous attractions, including the
waxworks of Madame Tussauds and the
Tower Bridge exhibition.
- Enfield has the Royal Small Arms Island
Centre. It tells the story of rifle and gun
manufacture through the ages.
- Whitewebbs Museum of Transport has a
collection of cars, commercial vehicles and
motor cycles.
- Waltham Abbey is home to the Royal
Gunpowder Mills.
- Hatfield House is a Jacobean house with
beautiful gardens, once a royal palace.
Epping Forest is the largest public open
space in the London area. Queen Elizabeth’s
Hunting Lodge, the only remaining timberframed
Standing in England, hosts a range
of Tudor activities.
- Take a boat on the River Lee and explore
Lee Valley Country Park. The Park is good for
walking, cycling, fishing and bird-watching.
It will feature in the 2012 Olympics.
- Hayes Hill children’s farm and Holyfield Hall dairy and arable farm are both near
Waltham Abbey and open to visitors.
- Forty Hall Museum has a fine collection of
furniture, art and antiques. It hosts special
exhibitions throughout the year.
- If driving to Site, take the A10 towards Enfield and London – not Hertford. Take all available right-turns when coming from the M25.
