On the shore of Horsley lake, our beautiful Site is perfect for fishing or simply watching
the world go by. It is a haven for wildlife – foxes, deer, rabbits and ducks are all
regular visitors.

What's on?
- The Site is on the edge of the North Downs,
where there is a well-maintained network
of footpaths.
- Denbies is England’s largest vineyard.
- The Royal Horticultural Society’s Garden at Wisley is close by.
- Bocketts Farm Park hosts piglet racing and is a working farm.
- The city of Guildford has three National
Trust properties, including Dapdune Wharf –
the centrepiece of the River Wey
Navigations.
- Hatchlands is set in the 430-acre Repton
Park. The 18th century mansion has
Adam interiors and a collection of
keyboard instruments.
- Brooklands Museum is based at the
birthplace of British motorsport and aviation.
It is home to the first purpose-built motor
racing circuit as well as a Wellington
bomber.
- Several theme parks are in the area,
including Legoland, Chessington World of
Adventures and Thorpe Park.
- Newland Corner is five miles from Site.
Managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust
Countryside Services, it has several trails
to follow.
- Shalford Mill is an early 18th century water mill, with its original millstone.
- Trains go in to London from East
Horsley village.
