"First in the Field" by Hazel Constance

Hazel was commissioned to write the book in 1999. She was Club Archivist from 1996 to 2007 and has been a Club member since 1960.
The book is a history of the first 100 years of the Club, but also includes much on the history of camping and caravanning in general and some social history of the times. Included are records of the Club Presidents, Chairmen, Club Sites, Regions, District Associations, Specialist Sections and National Feasts of Lanterns.
This hard-cover, comprehensive history of the Club and camping costs £15 plus £5 postage and packaging.
