Studland - Shell Bay
Located in Poole, Dorset, Shell Bay Beach is an attractive sand beach close to Poole Harbour. Camping in Dorset is a great way to see the area and our Corfe Castle Club Site is just 5.3 miles away from Shell Bay Beach.
This popular beach can be accessed by ferry as well as by road and the number 50 bus stops next to the beach and runs every 30 minutes in the summer months. There is a carpark right next to the beach with free parking for National Trust Members.
Plenty to do
The water quality here is very good which makes it a hot spot for water based activities. Windsurfing, swimming, fishing and sailing are amongst the most popular sports however plenty more is available with dinghy hire another option.
There is no life guard onsite at this beach but it is cleaned on a daily basis, making it the ideal place to relax as well as enjoy the water based activities. If you are into nature and wildlife you will also find plenty to do here, as the Studland Heath National Nature Reserve is at the back of the bay.
Stop by the café for a pick me up or a rest after a day of fun filled water sports.
