Studland - Knoll Beach
Studland - Knoll Beach is a beautiful white sand beach located in Swanage, Dorset. Stretching for four miles, the beach boasts impressive sand dunes and is part of the Studland National Nature Reserve.
It should be noted that part of the beach is a naturist area, which is something that families with children may want to avoid. There are plenty of convenient facilities available for visitors to this beach, which includes toilet facilities, disabled facilities, baby changing facilities, shops, and cafes amongst others.
You can also hire equipment for beach activities such as surf boards and canoes. If you enjoy outdoor activities you will find plenty to keep you busy at Knoll Beach. You can enjoy a variety of water activities such as canoeing, surfing, swimming, fishing, snorkelling, and sailing.
The water quality at the beach is excellent but there is no lifeguard onsite here. If you love walking and natural beauty, there are some great walks surrounded by the areas stunning scenery. This is a clean and attractive beach that is recommended by the Marine Conservation Society. While dogs are allowed during some periods they are banned between June and September.
