Towneley Hall Art Gallery and Museum

Towneley Hall is now a museum inside a country house. Housing a variety of displays about Natural History, Egyptology, Local History, Textiles, Decorative Art and Regional Furniture, you are able to explore the period rooms, art gallery and learn more about Burnley's history whilst a Mouse Trail through the Museum keeps children entertained. Towneley Park is the largest and most popular park in Burnley with a long history as a private estate, with much of its current landscape the result of work carried out in the late eighteenth century by Charles Towneley.

Towneley Hall is closed on Fridays.
