Explore the history, heritage and geology of the local area, at the Clitheroe Castle Museum. There are displays on geology, archaeology, natural history, folklore and industrial and social history. There are rocks and fossils, photographs, paintings, coins and medals, and finds from the site and the surrounding area - like bronze age burial urns from Pinder Hill and silver coins from Mitton (The Mitton Hoard Henry VI coins). Refreshments are available from the Atrium café.
