Science & Knowledge

The Scottish Dolphin Centre is the perfect place to learn about these spectacular animals. Perfect for Land based dolphin watching, there are free tours and a visitor’s centre, experienced guides, and interactive wildlife cameras. The Centre hosts talks, events and activities for all ages, and there is even a shop and café to enjoy freshly brewed cup of coffee with a homebaked cake. Visitors can learn about the history of salmon fishing in Scotland's largest ice house, see and touch a fantastic collection of whale bones. The Underwater World film offers stunning footage of whales and dolphins in their natural habitat. Best of all admission is free!

The Centre is run by Whale and Dolphin Conservation, WDC.

Directions

The Scottish Dolphin Centre lies half way between Inverness and Aberdeen. Turn off the A96 onto the B9014, between Mosstodloch and Fochabers, following the brown tourism sign for Wildlife Centre. Follow the road until the end and take the right hand fork
