Festivals & Heritage

Ascott is a beautiful half-timbered Jacobean farmhouse, which was transformed by the de Rothschilds at the end of the 19th century. Now it is the home to an exceptional collection of paintings, fine furniture and superb oriental porcelain. Visitors can wander the extensive gardens, which offer an attractive mix of formal and natural, with specimen trees and shrubs.
