Known across the world as a Christian apologist, author and allegorist, C S Lewis was a member of the Holy Trinity Church, Oxford congregation for over 30 years. Fittingly they will host a festival celebrating his life. There will a guided walk on the 20th and 21st September, taking in Joy Davidman/Gresham's house, "Hillsboro" - where Lewis and his extended family lived for 7 years, the C S Lewis Nature Reserve, "The Kilns" where the Lewis household lived for over 30 years, Holy Trinity Church and, finally, C S Lewis's grave. There will also be talks by theologian Alister McGrath, playwright Susan Stead, poet and songwriter Malcolm Guite and the Bishop of Oxford, John Pritchard.
