Set in the beautiful Welsh town, Brecon Jazz Festival offers a mix of Great Brits and legendary Jazz stars from across the African continent to share the joy of Jazz in 50 concerts over three days. Around 25 concerts over the weekend will also feature free family events - Fireworks on Friday, a Jazz Carnival parade on Saturday, and the Jazz Service on Sunday.
Friday: Courtney Pine Presents House Of Legends, Nils Petter, Molvaer Trio Jason Rebello Group, Gilad Atzmon And The Orient House Ensemble, Junior Jazz Showcase, Zoe Rahman Quintet, Jazz Club With Jazzman Gerald.
Saturday: Ian Shaw And Trio, Tim Kliphuis Trio & David Newton, Laurence Cottle Trio Featuring Mornington Lockett And Ian Thomas, Martin Taylor and Alan Barnes Wales meets Naples with Huw Warren and Maria Pia De Vito, Julian Siegel Quartet, Roller Trio, Rwcmd Presents Django Bates' Belovèd, Phronesis, Anthony Strong, Mavis Staples, Jazz Club With Snowboy.
Masterclasses: Laurence Cottle, Jason Rebell, Jim Black.
Sunday: Jools Holland And His Rhythm And Blues Orchestra, Mr. Acker Bilk And His Paramount Jazz Band, The Impossible Gentlemen, Shades Of Shearing Davide Logiri meets Torfaen Jazz, Arturo Serra Quartet Meets Celia Mur, 'Balança' Led By Cathy Jones, Laura Jurd Quartet John Surman Trio, Quercus, Jazz4jed Bursary Concert, Wales meets Brooklyn with Huw Warren And Jim Black Blue Spirits Trio, Jazz Festival Service At Brecon Cathedral.

Brecon is well served by good trunk roads bringing you in from the motorway network. From the M4 coming from the east the journey is either via the A449 to Raglan picking up the A40 or via the A470 at Cardiff. From the west off the M4 you can enter via the A4067. From the M5 one can travel by the M50 to Monmouth and join the A40 into the area.
