The Isle of Wight is internationally famous for its dinosaur remains. Britain's first purpose built dinosaur museum tells the story of how, over 120 million years ago the environment on the Isle of Wight was just right to support everything from the smallest bacteria and insects, to giant dinosaurs like Neovenator and Baryonyx. A host of interactive displays will guide you through the history, with guides on hand to answer your questions. Upstairs there is plenty of space for young children to draw, colour, paint, read or dress up, and enjoy dinosaur games and puzzles.
