Festivals & Heritage

Based in the original sewage pumping station for Cambridge, the Museum of Technology exists to preserve and exhibit material that is relevant to the Cambridge area, either by its use or its invention.

Vistors can see the pumping station's original equipment and other engines, and on special steam days you can see it in action. You can see displays of Letterpress-printing equipment ranging from early hand operated presses to early power machinery. There are also a range of items manufactured by W.G. Pye of Cambridge, the Cambridge Instrument Company, and various other local industries.
