Want to enjoy world class museums in and around Birmingham? There lots on offer with Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Aston Hall and Park, timber-framed Blakesley Hall, the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter, Sarehole Mill, Soho House, the ruins of Weoley Castle, and even the Museums Collections Centre which brings together hundreds of thousands of objects.

The Museums Collections Centre in Nechells brings together 80% of Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery’s stored collections. The 1.5 hectare site, close to Duddeston Station, holds hundreds of thousands of interesting objects and unique collections including steam engines, sculptures, an entire collection of Austin, Rover and MG motor cars!

There are free open afternoons from 1.30pm - 3.30pm on the last Friday of every month. These must be booked in advance.
