Sports & Outdoors

Lavender has been grown for medicinal and culinary reasons for centuries. Lavender flowers are harvested during the summer months when they are at their peak for perfume and properties, and they are transformed into a host of useful products from cosmetics to aroma therapy oils. Lavender can be used in food and bees prepare some of the finest quality honeys from lavender pollen.

A family run, 25-acre lavender farm in Surrey, less than 15 miles from Central London that grow their lavender organically with no chemical fertilisers, pesticides or herbicides. Lavender fields are beautiful, so why not join in the annual photography competition?
