Now in its fifth year, the Towcar Awards is an established event in the Club’s calendar. it brings together key people from across the caravanning and motoring industries to put the latest vehicles through their paces.
Our judges assessed 50 cars this year, and our rigorous and robust tests ensure the results are accurate and genuine. The core testing team has remained pretty much the same since year one, which means ever greater experience and expertise. One aspect the Club is particularly proud of is the small ‘army’ of volunteers who give up a week of their time to help with the operational and logistical side of testing. They are a credit to the Club and essential to the team. We also welcomed members of the Club’s Executive Committee to the track this year. They experienced the event first hand and left highly impressed by the level of organisation, planning and professionalism of all who participated. so thanks to everyone involved. This is a real team effort by the Club, Practical Caravan, what Car? and our industry partners. we hope you find the results useful, interesting and definitive.
