National Camping and Caravanning Week 2012
National Camping and Caravanning Week is now into its 12th year and celebrates the nation’s growing love of camping, caravanning and the great outdoors.
This year, NCCW 2012 coincided with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and we decided to celebrate with a right royal celebration!
On Monday, June 4, the Club marked the occasion by setting a new Jubilee themed Guinness World Record for the most people wearing paper crowns across multiple locations in 24 hours! The official total was a staggering 14,621.
And there’s still time to join in on the fun as the NCCW competitions are open for entries until 22 June.
Whether you’re a new or experienced camper, camping is a great way to make new friends, spend quality time with family and to experience the outdoor lifestyle – so what are you waiting for, get away from it all and pitch up with the Club!
