Unipart Leisure Joins The Club To Bring You National Camping And Caravanning Week 2006

Unipart Leisure, manufacturer of Royal, and the UK’s leading supplier of camping and caravanning accessories, is the first and main sponsor for The Camping and Caravanning Club’s hugely successful National Camping and Caravanning Week 2006 – 27 May to 2 June.

The Club has spent hundreds of thousands of pounds promoting National Camping and Caravanning Week (NCCW) to its members and to the general public over the past five years and so has welcomed the support of Unipart Leisure.

NCCW is about getting more and more people out camping and caravanning in the interest of the whole of the outdoors industry. Each year, this award-winning Week has enjoyed increasing success as more and more organisations see its potential in attracting a growing number of people to enjoy camping and caravanning.

The 2005 NCCW campaign saw a staggering 70 radio items, numerous TV and national and regional newspaper articles, and a broad coverage in camping and caravanning press.

Sam Hill, who is running the campaign for the third year, says: “This year, the Club with the support of Unipart Leisure, has some exciting plans to get people out there talking about camping and caravanning.

“A number of us will be out in motorhomes travelling across the country getting as many people talking about the Week as we can. In addition, the Club’s extensive sites and volunteer network will be out and about introducing new people to camping and caravanning.

“There’s loads of ways you can all get involved. Whether you set up an event or a special offer for the Week, or you use the Week to promote yourself, we can provide promotional material, put your details on the dedicated NCCW website and talk about you during our tour. Keep an eye on www.nccw.co.uk for daily updates.”

Simon Coleman, Sales and Marketing Director for Unipart Leisure says: “We’re really excited to be the main sponsor of such a prestigious event and look forward to getting out there and helping to introduce new people to camping and caravanning.”
