Go even further with The Camping and Caravanning Club
There will be even more choice for campers and caravanners holidaying abroad in 2007, following the launch of the Carefree Summer 2007 brochure.
Carefree Summer 2007 includes more options than ever before, including new camp sites in Europe and opportunities to stay in the USA and Australia. Access to the waterfront is a common link between the additional Continental sites, which include a relaxed and friendly family site near the beach in the Vendée, France and a spacious site by a lake in Belfort, close to the Swiss border.
Carefree is the overseas travel service of The Camping and Caravanning Club. It has been supporting those holidaying abroad for over 70 years and has an unrivalled reputation for helping travellers who have not tried towing or camping overseas before. Most of Carefree’s Travel Advisors are campers or caravanners themselves and all are specialists in helping others make the most of their holidays abroad.
A popular choice for many campers is an Inclusive Holiday. Carefree organises everything, from ferry bookings to camp sites and insurance, even providing relevant guides and maps. Club members can be assured that every site recommended by Carefree has been recently inspected by a member of the Carefree Sites Inspection Team – so Advisors can answer questions accurately and with confidence.
The Carefree Summer 2007 brochure includes two new Club Rallies, at Villaggio Italgest in Italy and at Camping le Pin Parasol in the increasingly popular Vendée region of France. These join 20 other Rally destinations in six countries across Europe, from County Mayo in Ireland to Porec in Croatia. A Club Rally allows campers to stay for two weeks or up to six months, among other Club members.
The Club’s Travel Services Director, Richard Grimsdale, says: “There’s never been a better time to book your camping and caravanning holiday with Carefree Travel Service. There are so many options.
“When you book you can be sure everything has been thoroughly checked by us. A representative of Carefree visits every recommended camp site each year, so we know they are all up to standard – and you can always ask to speak to someone who has been to the site that interests you.”
