Regular readers will be aware of my theory that pretty much everything in life can be improved with a bit of cheese. After all it is one half of many a fine partnership – wine and cheese, port and cheese, cheese and crackers, cheese and pickle, mac ‘n’ cheese, cheese and onion, even cheese and pineapple… stop me now. But cheese and beer? It’s certainly never been on my radar as an obvious pairing. Could I be missing a match made in foodie heaven?
