We first spotted the Therm-a-rest Tranquility tent at the Outdoor Trade Show in September and it caught the eye because of its unusual colours and shape. The front has a gothic-arch feel and inside is fabric in at least four colours, which certainly makes it stand out from the crowd.
This is the first tent the US manufacturer has brought into the UK and it’s one of two – its smaller sibling, the Tranquility 4, being a scaled down version of the same tent. And it’s also spelt with just one ‘l’ in Tranquility – another nod to its American origins.
