Two big-hitting German brands in the caravan and motorhome industry are celebrating significant milestones at this year’s Motorhome and Caravan Show at the NEC in Birmingham.
Caravan and motorhome producer Hobby is celebrating its 50th anniversary while luxury RV and motorhome name Hymer is celebrating 60 years – with both companies presenting special anniversary edition models for their respective occasions.
At the
NEC event, Hobby showcased three unique 50th anniversary edition versions of its Excellent caravan range – the 540 UL, 560 CFe and 560 KMFe – which all feature luxurious upgrades such as silver alloys, REICH easydriver Motor Mover 19” LED flatscreen TVs and Thule Omnistor 6200 roof awnings.
The Rendsburg-based company also displayed two limited edition anniversary motorhomes – the Optima Premium V65 GE and Optima Premium T70 F – which include anniversary furnishings such as a double-glazed and tinted skylight, a bed widening element and Hobby 50-year embroidered emblems on the seats.
Meanwhile Hymer took the NEC show as an opportunity to show off several ‘60 Edition’ anniversary motorhome models including the ML-T 570, the ML-I 570, T-Class 578, T-Class 594, T-Class 598, T-Class 574, T-Class 678 and T-Class 698.
The former two of these motorhomes benefit from the Hymer ‘care free package’ which gives them stylish exteriors and high quality interiors with designs and materials that would not normally feature on these models.
