Ready Camp has expanded its network of glamping tents, adding 12 new locations to meet demand for the 2016 season.
Ready Camp was launched by The Camping and Caravanning Club in February 2015 and now boasts 101 glamping tents across 29 campsites.
Joining the network are Milarrochy Bay and Culzean Castle Club Sites in Scotland, Cardigan Bay in Wales, Moreton and Tavistock in south-west England, Ravenglass in north-west England, plus Sheriff Hutton and Boroughbridge in north-east England.
Cambridge now hosts Ready Camp, as does Kelvedon Hatch in south-east England. In East Anglia, Kessingland and West Runton Club Sites now have two and three of the glamping tents respectively. Bookings are now being taken at each location, for stays of three nights or more.
With the pre-erected tents installed earlier than anticipated, the all-new Ready Camp venues can be booked from 29 April. They join the majority of the original campsites that have been open since late March.
Derwentwater, which will become the largest Ready Camp site, is currently undergoing renovation and will be open from 1 July. Glamping tents on the Lake District site, which sits between Skiddaw and the edge of Derwentwater, are now bookable for stays from this date.
Each tent offers comfortable and hassle-free camping for those keen to spent nights under canvas without having to pitch their own tent or hitch up a caravan – all you need to bring is your own bedding, towels and a sense of adventure.
Ready Camp tents sleep up to six people and come fully furnished with a double bed, a triple bunk bed and single stow-away bed. There’s also a kitchen with a fridge, microwave and hob, plus basic cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery, a sofa, dining table and chairs, a lockable storage cabinet, electric sockets and lights.
A holiday with Ready Camp costs from just £20 per tent, per night in low season. To find out more and to book online, visit the award winning website.
