Show guests sharing their love of the outdoors will include Club President Julia Bradbury, motorcycle star Carl Fogarty, cyclist Dave Sims and Ali Ray
Julia will be at the Motorhome and Caravan Show on Friendly Friday, 16 October. As well as speaking about her love of walking and the great outdoors in the Experts Theatre, she will be on the Club stand throughout the day to meet and chat with members.
Motorcycle champion Carl Fogarty will officially open the show on Tuesday 13 October and will speak in the Experts Theatre about his amazing race career and his love of getting out and about in the UK. He will also be signing autographs for show visitors.
Eat Local champion and Club magazine columnist Ali Ray will be cooking up a storm on the Club stand each day from Friday to Sunday. Ali’s demonstrations will inspire campers to make the most of the great local produce that Britain offers, as featured in her first book – Pitch Up, Eat Local.
Merseyside cyclist Dave Sims rode the whole 3,500km Tour de France route on a vintage Raleigh Chopper, raising funds for charities including Help for Heroes. He’ll be at the Show on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15, talking about his adventure.
Other show guests will include Graham Powell, of Caravan Finder TV, Practical Caravan magazine’s John Wickersham, and MMM road tester Dave Hurrell.
The Motorhome and Caravan Show will take place at Birmingham’s NEC from 13 to 18 October and features every type of leisure vehicle, including caravans, motorhomes, campervans, trailer tents and folding caravans, luxury lodges and caravan holiday homes.
Club members can buy tickets in advance from as little as £7 for senior citizens and £8 for adults, with further discounts available on Friendly Friday.
