On the shore of Horsley lake, our beautiful Site is perfect for fishing or simply watching the world go by. It is a haven for wildlife – foxes, deer, rabbits and ducks are all regular visitors.

Horsley is a beautiful camp. Very peaceful, especially around the lake. The wildlife is lovely in spring time, with all the young birds and morning birdsong. Lovely. - P Brady and D Fritter

The Site is on the edge of the North Downs, where there is a well-maintained network of footpaths.

Denbies is England’s largest vineyard.

The Royal Horticultural Society’s Garden at Wisley is close by.

Bocketts Farm Park hosts piglet racing and is a working farm.

The city of Guildford has three National Trust properties, including Dapdune Wharf – the centrepiece of the River Wey Navigations.

Hatchlands is set in the 430-acre Repton Park. The 18th century mansion has Adam interiors and a collection of keyboard instruments.

Brooklands Museum is based at the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation. It is home to the first purpose-built motor racing circuit as well as a Wellington bomber.

Several theme parks are in the area, including Legoland, Chessington World of Adventures and Thorpe Park.

Newland Corner is five miles from Site. Managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust Countryside Services, it has several trails to follow.

Shalford Mill is an early 18th century water mill, with its original millstone.

Trains go in to London from East Horsley village.


Worth Noting

Fishing is available from this site from 1 May to site closing date. Current Environment Agency rod licence is required before fishing can commence.

Eat Local

F Conisbee and Son sell meat from local farms, including sausages and cooked meats. There is a Farmers’ Market in Guildford on Saturdays.

Seperate disabled facilities The Club was working to improve accessibility of our Sites long before the Disability Discrimination Act came into force in 2004. We are committed to a continual programme of improvements through access audits to ensure our facilities are available to all.


Arrivals after 8pm are only permitted by prior arrangement direct with Holiday Site Managers.
