Happy Camper Competition 2016 Terms & Conditions

  1. Only members of The Camping and Caravanning Club, or children under 18 whose parents or guardians are members of The Camping and Caravanning Club are eligible for entry to the competition
  2. Employees of The Camping and Caravanning Club, immediate family of The Camping and Caravanning Club employees and parties professionally associated with the promotion may not enter this promotion.
  3. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when entering the Promotion.
  4. You can enter the competition in two ways. Submit printed entries through the post to Happy Camper Competition, PO Box 78, Coventry, CV4 8JH or upload an entry form at https://www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk/happycamper2016
  5. The opening date of the competition is Wednesday 15th June 2016..
  6. Closing date: All entries must be received by 23:59 BST on Sunday 31st July 2016. The Camping and Caravanning Club will not accept liability for entries damaged in the course of transmission and/or incomplete entries.
  7. Three semi-finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter from all complete entries received before the closing date.
  8. Semi-finalists will be notified by email, post or phone within 14 days of the closing date.
  9. The winner will be decided by popular vote at The Camping and Caravanning Club’s National Feast of Lanterns event, taking place 25th -29th August 2016
  10. The winner will be decided on Friday 2nd September 2016, with winners to be notified week commencing 5th September 2016.
  11. Semi finalist prizes: Each semi-finalist will receive: a) £150 Go Outdoors gift vouchers, b) Happy Camper Semi-finalist medal.
  12. Winner’s prize: a) Additional: £350 Go Outdoors gift vouchers, on top of Semi-finalist vouchers b) Happy Camper 2016 trophy
  13. Prize draw prize: 1) 1 x £20 Go Outdoors gift voucher, 2) Only one entry per person, per nomination. Persons attempting to obtain multiple entries via other means will automatically be disqualified. 3) The winner will be selected at random on 3rd August 2016
  14. There is no cash or other alternative gift to the prizes
  15. If we are unable to contact the chosen winner within the 14 days following the decision date the Promoter reserves the right to choose another winner.
  16. The decision shall be final and binding in all respects on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these entry rules and conditions will be disqualified.
  17. Details of the winner’s' and semi-finalists’ names and counties will be available for one month after the close of the Promotion by writing to the Promoter at the address set out below and stating the name and date of the Promotion.
  18. The winner and semi-finalists may be required to take part in promotional activity for The Camping and Caravanning Club regarding their prize and agree to allow the Promoter to use their name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional remuneration for one year following the decision date.
  19. Any comments from members accompanying their nomination may be used in promotional material for The Camping and Caravanning Club.
  20. The Promoter will use each winner's, and each entrant's, personal details for the purpose of administering the Promotion.
  21. The Promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of, or in connection with, this Promotion.
  22. Entry to the competition is free and no purchase is necessary. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules.
  23. Entrants warrant that they own the copyright for any image that they submit, and that they are not infringing the copyright or other rights of any third parties.
  24. Entrants will maintain copyright and moral rights on any submitted image however, by entering; all entrants grant the Camping and Caravanning Club and non-exclusive rights to use the image for advertising and publicity purposes in perpetuity.
  25. In the event that any provision of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid, void or otherwise unenforceable, it shall be severed from the remaining provisions, which shall
