Our lovely Club Site at Glencoe is surrounded by land managed by the National Trust of Scotland. All pitches enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and the Site is surrounded by woodland.

We walked aroung the Site and realised they were all prime pitches with spectacular views of the mountains in a circle around us. - Dot and Eric Pendleton

Glencoe National Trust for Scotland Visitor Centre is very eco-friendly and commemorates the infamous massacre of 1692. It is a short walk from Site. Wildlfe Land Rover Safaris are available during the summer.

The Glencoe and North Lorn Folk Museum is the only thatched building in the area.

Cross Loch Linnhe using the ferry from Corran to Ardgour, part of the old trade route, the “Road to the Isles”.

The West Highland Way passes within nine miles of the Site. There are many other low and high-level walks to explore some of Europe’s finest scenery.

Fort William is home to The Jacobite steam train, which travels through dramatic and beautiful scenery. The route is known as one of the greatest railway journeys in the world.

Many films and TV programmes use locations in the area, from Harry Potter to Kidnapped.

The woodlands of Strontian were planted. by the Riddell family in the 19th century. They are now home to sea eagles and red squirrels.


Did You Know

Glencoe is a U-shaped valley, created by a glacier during the Ice Age. The surrounding mountains are made of some of the oldest sedimentary and volcanic strata in the world.

Worth Noting

There is no TV Reception on this site. Please note that caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents will be booked on hardstandings, Club Standard Pitches are for tents only.

Eat Local

The Clachaig Inn in Glencoe, the Laroch Bar in Ballachulish and the Seafood Café in Lochleven all serve good food.
