Did You Know

The Club Site is by the East Cliff and Warren Country Park. The Warren was once chalk grassland and in 1920 there were virtually no trees here. In 1924, the land was gifted to the people of Folkestone and grazing animals were banned.

Worth Noting

Sea Fishing from beach. The site overlooks a great shingle beach – the kids will love it. The site is the ideal location for bird watching and walking.

Eat Local

There are several stalls selling fresh fish in Folkestone. Hythe has good greengrocer shops and fishmongers, all selling local produce. A Farmers’ Market is held at Capel-le-Ferne.
