No, I'm afraid not. Certificated Sites are for Club members use only. However, you would be able to join on site.
In Your Big Sites Book only the sites that have a green 'Certificated Sites' banner above them are Certificated Sites. The site you stayed on was probably a Listed/commercial site whose first symbol in the entry will have started with a L.
You can complete a Site Report Form online, if you wish this will allow you to nominate a site for the Best CS Award.
Go to the Site Report Form.
Your Big Sites Book is a bi-ennual publication and therefore site fees may change in the second year of its publication.
Listed Sites are commercial campsites that we include in Your Big Sites Book. They are licensed by their Local Authority who should inspect them on a regular basis.
A Certificated Site has been approved by the Club for the use of five members caravans or motorcaravans, plus tents, space permitting.
Your Big Sites Book is the largest campsite guide available in the UK today. It has details of over 2,650 campsites from smaller Certificated Sites that take only five caravans or motorcaravans to larger Listed or commercial sites, including our own UK Club Sites and Forest Holiday Sites.
Your Big Sites Book is produced every two years so the next edition (2012-2013) incorporating Your Place in the Country will be sent to members in October 2012.
Your Big Sites Book is only available to Club members. If a replacement copy is required please call the Club on 0845 130 7632, where you will be able to purchase another copy.
