Ideal campsite for exploring local market towns or walks on the Malvern Hills.

Blackmore Club campsite enjoys a peaceful setting in the Worcestershire countryside with stunning views across to the Malvern Hills. It combines plenty of green open space with more sheltered pitches around the site perimeter. As well as clean, modern toilet blocks, the excellent on site facilities include a recreation room with pool table, dog walk and children’s play area.

One of the appeals of this award-wining site is its proximity to the Malvern Hills – an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ¬- which offers fantastic walking and cycling opportunities on over 100 miles of paths and bridleways. In fact, so popular is the area for walking, it hosts a nine-day walking festival. If you prefer walks of the not so challenging type, the pretty village of Hanley Swan, with a choice of two pubs, is just a mile’s stroll from the site.

If you want to travel a bit further afield but leave your vehicle behind, there’s a bus stop just outside the site with an hourly service to Malvern, Upton and Worcester.

Worth Noting

TV reception is poor in some areas of the Site.

WiFi

100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.

Eat Local

The Bluebell Inn at Ryall serves local produce and runs a minibus to transport campers to and from the restaurant. Great Malvern and Worcester both host Farmers’ Markets.

Whenever we have booked more than 1 pitch on a c&cc site we have always been pitched together, this is a major plus over the caravan club. The warden flatly refused this time - unless I paid both lots of fees. What nonsense. The wardens are the most unfriendly we've encountered in over 20 years of caravanning - and it wasn't only us that were given the distinct impression that campers were an inconvenience. I understand they are a new team - someone needs to put them straight, and quickly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely site.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely site. When we arrived we were offered a choice of pitch (sheltered/sunny) and the Warden showing us to our pitch checked that we knew where all of the amenities were. Later in our stay we had a minor problem with our electrics and the Warden sorted it out immediately, returning several times over the next few days to check the hook-up point to check that everything was still ok. Thank you to all of the hard-working staff for making our holiday such an enjoyable one.

My only hesitation about recommending this excellent site would be to increase its popularity.

My only hesitation about recommending this excellent site would be to increase its popularity. Everything about our stay was excellent, from the very warm welcome of the staff to the well-laid out, spacious site and spotless facilities, discreet dog walk, access to the Malvern Hills with spectacular view of 50+ miles in each direction from the Beacon and the pub meal just a short cycle away in the village. Even though we were there in high season, noise from children was only noticeable in early evening, just as you'd expect anywhere. As the website says, internet access via wifi was dodgy, but better than nothing. Would definitely return. Many thanks to the team.

Well the site is somewhat secluded and Hanley Swan is very small and is walkable without youngsters it would be a trek for children.Walking is difficult outside of the site and a car ia needed to the local towns unless of course you are willing too wait on public transport? A visit too Ledbury is a must. Shipton is nice also Malvern is easy to get too so there is plenty to do around the area. The only downside to the site is the No ball games for the children and the designated area is next to the road! And is hardly big enough I am sure it could be accomodated for the kids safety and enjoyment.
