Ideal campsite for exploring local market towns or walks on the Malvern Hills.

Blackmore Club campsite enjoys a peaceful setting in the Worcestershire countryside with stunning views across to the Malvern Hills. It combines plenty of green open space with more sheltered pitches around the site perimeter. As well as clean, modern toilet blocks, the excellent on site facilities include a recreation room with pool table, dog walk and children’s play area.

One of the appeals of this award-wining site is its proximity to the Malvern Hills – an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ¬- which offers fantastic walking and cycling opportunities on over 100 miles of paths and bridleways. In fact, so popular is the area for walking, it hosts a nine-day walking festival. If you prefer walks of the not so challenging type, the pretty village of Hanley Swan, with a choice of two pubs, is just a mile’s stroll from the site.

If you want to travel a bit further afield but leave your vehicle behind, there’s a bus stop just outside the site with an hourly service to Malvern, Upton and Worcester.

Ready Camp is available at this campsite. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

I arrived to find some very friendly staff.

I arrived to find some very friendly staff. They then get on push bikes to escort you to your pitch. They then tell you where everything is that you'll need. The site is very level, beautifully cut grass, and if you want hardstanding, they are a fab size. Dogs are made to feel welcome too. There is a lovely wooded dog walk, virtually all around the campsite. This is well kept, and doggy bins provided. I would recommend this site.

We were trying to book a last minute break within 50 miles of our home and with it being half-term week we had no joy . Until we phoned the C&CC who found us this cracker of a place called Blackmore . within 3 hours of booking it we were welcomed on site by Lynda , who showed us to the service points and then showed us around the site . we found the toilets and showers were A1. 3 showers in the men's and 3 in the ladies , both with hot water no matter what time of the day. The grounds were immaculate and the secluded site was a real treat. we had a walk to the Malvern hills which had taken us about 2.5hours to reach the top from the camp site . ( all cross-country via designated footpaths from the local church graveyard. A good bus service to Worcester outside the camp and well worth a visit . A 15 minute walk into Hanley Swan village for the local post office /village store if you run short of essentials. This was a great selection by the C&CC and we will visit again .

I feel it should be make clear that this site is not really suitable for families with children. It does have a small play area, however in our experience the staff were generally quite intolerant of the children and they were not allowed to play any ball games on the site at all. Whilst I understand that people don't want footballs hitting their cars and caravans, our children were nowhere near to anybody else's pitch and were playing quietly and not disturbing anyone. The only option was for them to play in a "field" which had cars parked in it and is actually across the road from the campsite. Myself and the other parents I was with felt strongly that this was not a safe option. We felt that we were a general inconvenience to the staff during our stay which is a shame as it is a nice site with good facilities but we won't be returning. I would imagine that you would find your stay much more pleasant if you don't have young children to annoy anybody. I don't normally leave reviews like this but I feel strongly that with such an unsuitable option for playing, that any parents with children interested in ball games of any sort should look for an alternative site.

the brochure said ball games by reception but when asked where the kids could play ball they said no where and where the brochure said they could play was used as a car park. When I asked if we could pitch by the park as there was two electric hook ups the manager said they weren't used but then someone was put on there's using the hook ups!!!!! was not happy to be lied to. apart from that camp site was clean and weven enjoyed the break
