Ideal campsite for exploring local market towns or walks on the Malvern Hills.

Blackmore Club campsite enjoys a peaceful setting in the Worcestershire countryside with stunning views across to the Malvern Hills. It combines plenty of green open space with more sheltered pitches around the site perimeter. As well as clean, modern toilet blocks, the excellent on site facilities include a recreation room with pool table, dog walk and children’s play area.

One of the appeals of this award-wining site is its proximity to the Malvern Hills – an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ¬- which offers fantastic walking and cycling opportunities on over 100 miles of paths and bridleways. In fact, so popular is the area for walking, it hosts a nine-day walking festival. If you prefer walks of the not so challenging type, the pretty village of Hanley Swan, with a choice of two pubs, is just a mile’s stroll from the site.

If you want to travel a bit further afield but leave your vehicle behind, there’s a bus stop just outside the site with an hourly service to Malvern, Upton and Worcester.

Ready Camp is available at this campsite. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

The friendly site managers make you feel very welcome and they keep this beautiful site immaculate. Blackmore's idyllic situation at the foot of the Malvern hills, makes it the perfect base from which to explore this fascinating area. Visit the spa town of Great Malvern, where the Victorians came for the "water cure". Elgar lived here and was inspired by its beauty. Walk the steep path to St. Anne's Well and perhaps carry on to the top of the Worcestershire Beacon, with spectacular views over the Worcestershire Plain and the Black Mountains of Wales. If you prefer a gentler walk, take a one mile stroll to Hanley Swan, where you can shop at the well-stocked village store and butcher's or call at the Swan Inn for good food and drink. If you need a supermarket, there's a Waitrose in Great Malvern and a Morrison's at Malvern Link, with a petrol station. One of the best things about the Malverns, is the sky at night. You can sit out on a warm, clear evening, watching bats flutter in the dusk, then get the sense of being under a dark, domed sky, sprinkled with stars. Come to Blackmore and feel the Malvern magic!

Gents' facilities are showing their age. Need updating.

Gents' facilities are showing their age. Need updating. Also there is no temperature control on showers - not everyone wants a HOT shower all the time. I for one like a cool shower, especially after a bike ride. Making temperature variable would actually be more economical (less hot water used)
