Ideal campsite for exploring local market towns or walks on the Malvern Hills.

Blackmore Club campsite enjoys a peaceful setting in the Worcestershire countryside with stunning views across to the Malvern Hills. It combines plenty of green open space with more sheltered pitches around the site perimeter. As well as clean, modern toilet blocks, the excellent on site facilities include a recreation room with pool table, dog walk and children’s play area.

One of the appeals of this award-wining site is its proximity to the Malvern Hills – an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ¬- which offers fantastic walking and cycling opportunities on over 100 miles of paths and bridleways. In fact, so popular is the area for walking, it hosts a nine-day walking festival. If you prefer walks of the not so challenging type, the pretty village of Hanley Swan, with a choice of two pubs, is just a mile’s stroll from the site.

If you want to travel a bit further afield but leave your vehicle behind, there’s a bus stop just outside the site with an hourly service to Malvern, Upton and Worcester.

Ready Camp is available at this campsite. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

Right from the start the staff were friendly and helpful.

Right from the start the staff were friendly and helpful. Even though the site was full the facilities were ample and always clean. Everyone obeyed the rules and two peaceful nights were spent under canvas. All the children played happily so a good time was had by all. Many thanks.

Excellent site. Warden very welcoming.

Excellent site. Warden very welcoming. My only concern is the sat nav took me through Malver/Great Malvern. Their was a very steep hill in the Center of town with a junction at the top. Nearly burnt my clutch out trying to move off. Not recommend when towing a caravan.

It is a lovely secluded and quiet site but the real stars are the team who run it and look after the visitors. We will return for a longer visit and explore the area soon.

We stayed here with friends and we both have motor homes.

This review is for Blackmore

We stayed here with friends and we both have motor homes. The pitches are very good and quite spacious. The site itself offers a more secluded pitch or wide open spaces. A good mix I thought. The facilities are really very good and well kept. We only had two niggles, one with the bus service which we found totally unreliable on the two occasions we used it going in either direction and the second being the lack of any public footpath maps. Cycling would in my opinion be quite dangerous as the roads are typical single carriageway bendy country roads. My suggestion therefore to make the most out of the beautiful countryside this site is in is ensure you have a means of transport and buy an ordinance survey map of the area before you go. There is a roadside walk to the lovely villiage of Hanley Swan about a mile away where there is a post offices and a pub. The pup is really nice, a bit pricey though. At the time of visiting we had a Smart car with us but our friends did not have a car which is why we used the bus service but I would definitely go back to this site to explore the area more in the car.
