The site sits on high ground overlooking the Holme valley with fantastic panoramic views. Feels remote but only a mile or so from Holmfirth which can be reached along a lane/bridle way that our dogs enjoyed, but be prepared for the stiff climb back. Lovely walking opportunities from the site. Although not clear on the description, the site currently has 3 x electric hook up points, 2 x wc's and a wet room shower in separate cubicles. All pitches are on slightly sloping well drained grass. If towing it is essential to follow the approach directions for the last few miles. The tightest and steepest short stretch is up Stoney Bank up to Gill Lane. The post code took up right to the entrance gate which makes a nice change. Nearest shops, pubs and restaurants are in Holmfirth including a Co-op with plenty of cheap parking and a great fish and chip shop. In summary the site is situated in a peaceful area with all the facilities you would expect on a rural Certificated Site which we would have no hesitation in returning to.
