The site was ideal in its location - we were able to access many walks including the South Downs Way path. The dog loved the variety of paths which surrounded the site. Wifi is really only available in the area of the shop and reception but there are benches to sit on when you are catching up with emails and etc! What is really special is the way in which each pitch is so secluded - the landscaping means that you really do feel you are surrounded by nature!

we only live 25 miles away,so we have easy access and it is totally different from where we live as we live on the coast.we find it very friendly and when we needed something, you were extremely helpful.(even supplying plasters when I cut my finger with a knife) and providing my husband with a claw hammer and block of wood when we were unable to remove a tent peg which had jammed in a tree root.probably my favourite site if I am honest.

This is a truly wonderful part of the country with woodland and winding roads to keep anyone happy! We arrived to site on a very wet Friday afternoon and the welcome was very friendly and efficient. We had booked a pitch for a tent with electric hook up (For the array of mod cons!) and was personally shown a selection of pitches to suit. Due to the weather the ground was very wet and very muddy! But we were reassured that the water would drain due to the sandy ground so we were most happy to pitch in a bit of a puddle. The campsite is beautiful. There is no denying that. The facilities are faultlessly clean although the small WC block isn't much more than a set of toilets in an unheated brick enclosure. But still they were spotless. It wasn't until we read about the history of Graffham and how the club have maintained the natural state of the site since the late 1940's that we then understood the significance of why the site is how it is. This site is going back to how nature intended and you can forgive all the mud for the sheer beauty that the site actually is - Although waking up at 4am to the dawn chorus wasn't very welcome it was great to experience. This site has definitely left an impression and one that we look forward to returning to for more long weekends away to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Don't bother bringing work. The WiFi is non existent and you'll be lucky to get any phone reception. Lush! Petworth is stunning and Arundel is just as nice with the most incredible castle. Tons to do and see, lots of walking, bike riding and take a drive for 15 minutes in any direction and there will be a picturesque pub waiting to serve you a pint of the local ale. The Angel in Petworth is highly recommended!! What more can you ask for?? Maybe a pair of wellies!!
