First visit here but not the last.

This review is for Graffham

First visit here but not the last. Staff are very cheery and helpful and the site itself is a delight. The toilet block can be a bit hard to find and is not exactly state-of-the-art but, hey, we're camping. Very quiet at night, despite many children on site for the Bank holiday weekend. Ideal base for visiting Petworth, nearby Bignor Roman villa and Chichester ... or just walking in marvellous Sussex countryside. Fish and chip van visited on Saturday evening but normally it is Friday ... and the grub was excellent.

Our first time at a CCC site and we were not disappointed.

Our first time at a CCC site and we were not disappointed. Secluded pitches in a beautiful woodland area. There is a booklet of walks available from the reception which is worth the 50p. Very close to Petworth and a day at the House and Park is worthwhile. Petworth town is close to the house so can also be visited at the same time. The NT car park is good for motorhomes.

The site was ideal in its location - we were able to access many walks including the South Downs Way path. The dog loved the variety of paths which surrounded the site. Wifi is really only available in the area of the shop and reception but there are benches to sit on when you are catching up with emails and etc! What is really special is the way in which each pitch is so secluded - the landscaping means that you really do feel you are surrounded by nature!

we only live 25 miles away,so we have easy access and it is totally different from where we live as we live on the coast.we find it very friendly and when we needed something, you were extremely helpful.(even supplying plasters when I cut my finger with a knife) and providing my husband with a claw hammer and block of wood when we were unable to remove a tent peg which had jammed in a tree root.probably my favourite site if I am honest.
