Me My husband and 10 year old son really enjoyed staying here. It was a bit tricky when we arrived as the sign post for the site was very small and we passed it wondering how on earth we were going to be able to turn around towing a caravan with such narrow roads. When we arrived we were greeted by happy smily faces, and were shown to our pitch by a lovely man even though it was pouring with rain, it was like being on safari! We arrived on the friday and were overjoyed to see that a mobile fish and chip van was available between 6.30 and 8.lovely but a tad pricey. It was terrential rain, but this didnt spoil our weekend away at all. Because of the large woodland it kept us amused, getting wet whilst exploring, hiding in camps and swinging on "swings" that previous campers had built. We also found a private footpath which allowed us to walk past a farm, we had a cheeky stroke of the horses. All in all a lovely setting for a very peaceful break, all pitches seem to be well spaced apart, some hidden, great for dog walkers, kids exploring and even for a romantic weekend away.Highly recommended.

Lovely campsite with many pitches offering good levels of privacy.

Lovely campsite with many pitches offering good levels of privacy. We were camped near the central toilet block which was regularly cleaned and facilities were generally good. However, the block was closed for cleaning from 10.30 to 12.00 which was too early for many, particularly some young families who had to rush. Also, two of the three showers had limited hot water. However, site staff were friendly and helpful. Good access to walks including the South Downs Way.

We stayed 3 nights, it was really quiet at our end of the site, site was fully booked but you wouldn't know. I really like the layout of the site with pitches tucked away under and in trees. The wardens were great, the facilities well cleaned and good. Nearby are the South Downs and plenty of walks from the campsite - there is a little booklet you can buy from reception. We didn't move our unit for three days, but then the exhaust had fallen off so it was advisable not to! Fish and Chip van an added bonus! Village of Graffham within easy walking distance through trees nice pub and very lovely shop - well situated for Petworth and even the coast - we'll definitely be back.
