Enjoy water, wildlife, cycling and walking from this Midland's-based Club Site.

Our Kingsbury Water Park Club campsite is a tranquil oasis in the heart of the industrial Midlands. Bordered by the lovely Water Park, this campsite is the perfect setting for a leisurely break. It’s a spacious site with large, level pitches. The clean, modern facilities benefit from underfloor heating. But perhaps the most engaging thing about this site is its location.

The adjacent Water Park ensures there are numerous activities right on hand. The water – there’s plenty of it – provides canoeing and sailing opportunities. Kingsbury is also one of the largest and most diverse fisheries in the Midlands. Walking and cycling tracks meander through the park and for the younger family members there are two play areas, a small train and a children’s farm. Nature lovers are in for a treat too, as the water is a haven for many birds and mammals.

The Outdoor Education Centre opposite the campsite entrance offers a variety of activities including abseiling, canoeing, climbing, rafting and more.

A walk along the canal towpath will bring you to the Dog and Doublet pub, Middleton Hall and an RSPB reserve while further afield the city of Birmingham is great for shopping. It also has a Sea Life Centre, museums and a vibrant nightlife.

The Black Country Living Museum and Cadbury World are also worth visiting and, of course, just a stone’s throw from the campsite is the NEC which hosts numerous concerts and exhibitions.

Worth Noting

Please note, if you have more than one car or are visiting the site, there is limited parking available, therefore you may be asked to park at Broomey Croft car park, which is chargeable. This site is situated near the M42 and can suffer from road noise at times.

Not a friendly site, seemed as though we were an inconvenience on arrival.

This review is for Kingsbury Water Park

Not a friendly site, seemed as though we were an inconvenience on arrival. The toilet block was a real let down, it was cold and there was a dead spider in one of the toilet cubicles all week!! The shower temperature could not be regulated and had an annoying feature where it constantly turned off. The site seemed disorganised and the grass unkempt. Wouldn't return.

This is the least dog friendly site we've ever stayed in, while allowing dogs there are signs...

This review is for Kingsbury Water Park

This is the least dog friendly site we've ever stayed in, while allowing dogs there are signs at every turn stating no dogs (even by the chemical loo cupboard - why would I take my dog in there?!). Having just come from several non C& CC sites in the lake district this was really noticeable. I do not want to take my dog into inappropriate places on a site but equally I don't expect to be told to leave the campsite grounds to walk him anytime he needs a quick wee and signs can be worded in a more friendly way. The staff are quite cold and officious. The sign put up while they are cleaning the loo block is incorrect and led me to a merry dance round the site trying to find a toilet! Staff did not know anything at all about the next door water park or facilities. Don't go expecting to get on a lake with your own kayak paddleboard etc - you are not allowed by the water park and no swimming either. Some nice level walks around the park though. Nearby pub in nice location by canal and near to site but beware food all day actually means until 7.30pm only and food is very basic pub grub - although staff friendly and dogs welcome. I laughed at some of the previous reviewers moaning about walking to the bins on the site - but they are right, all rubbish bins removed and only a skip near the far entrance. It really does look like laziness on the part of the staff, at least a few of the facility areas could have a bin in them!! I definitely won't be coming back here, and think the club needs to check out what is going on as it could put people off the club altogether. Am not a moaner generally and have just left a couple of great reviews for other campsites stayed at during this holiday.

Kingsbury water park is great for walking cycling.

This review is for Kingsbury Water Park

Kingsbury water park is great for walking cycling. The nearby canal is a good place to walk too and within 15 minutes walk of the campsite is the Dog and Doublet pub with its lovely waterside beer garden. Good food available here ( serving 'til 7-30pm when we were there ). Loads of shopping outlets just up the road in Tamworth if you need food etc. One of the highlights for us was to visit Sutton park (7 miles away in Sutton Coldfield ). Over 2000 acres of stunning parkland walks with several cafes for lunchtime feeds. Anyone wanting total peace and quiet may be better to seek out a more rural location. The road noise from the M42 nearby can be heard but is not a serious issue. All in all a great site with plenty of good places to visit nearby.
