Enjoy water, wildlife, cycling and walking from this Midland's-based Club Site.

Please note that in late April/early May there were a number of thefts from site overnight. The site team are working with police and strengthening security where possible and there have been no recent incidents but please be sure to secure all personal belongings.

Our Kingsbury Water Park Club campsite is a tranquil oasis in the heart of the industrial Midlands. Bordered by the lovely Water Park, this campsite is the perfect setting for a leisurely break. It’s a spacious site with large, level pitches. The clean, modern facilities benefit from underfloor heating. But perhaps the most engaging thing about this site is its location.

The adjacent Water Park ensures there are numerous activities right on hand. The water – there’s plenty of it – provides canoeing and sailing opportunities. Kingsbury is also one of the largest and most diverse fisheries in the Midlands. Walking and cycling tracks meander through the park and for the younger family members there are two play areas, a small train and a children’s farm. Nature lovers are in for a treat too, as the water is a haven for many birds and mammals.

The Outdoor Education Centre opposite the campsite entrance offers a variety of activities including abseiling, canoeing, climbing, rafting and more.

A walk along the canal towpath will bring you to the Dog and Doublet pub, Middleton Hall and an RSPB reserve while further afield the city of Birmingham is great for shopping. It also has a Sea Life Centre, museums and a vibrant nightlife.

The Black Country Living Museum and Cadbury World are also worth visiting and, of course, just a stone’s throw from the campsite is the NEC which hosts numerous concerts and exhibitions.

Worth Noting

Please note, if you have more than one car or are visiting the site, there is limited parking available, therefore you may be asked to park at Broomey Croft car park, which is chargeable. This site is situated near the M42 and can suffer from road noise at times.

Could benefit from a small shop selling basic items such as coffee milk etc, sat nav took us to the wrong entrance although sign posted the same as the park, just look for the caravan and tent on the sign, best accessed from M42 route as there is a steep hump back bridge if you enter from Drayton Manor, not ideal when towing, but a very restful place, no club.

First visit to this site and won't be our last. Took our grandson who had a great time. Got a pitch next to the play area full all day long with youngsters having a great time but come dusk all went quite ( fantastic). Well done to the staff who work hard to make you want to go back

The site is a lovely site with easy access to the Park itself.

The site is a lovely site with easy access to the Park itself. Only concern is nothing there for older children. The older boys played football a lot on the park and I think this scared the smaller ones sometimes. Also a few caravan owners were concerned as the ball was frequently kicked over the fence and caught the vans. Sometime to consider maybe a patch of one of the fields for ball games. Other than that lovely site (as always spotless) definitely go back

We love visiting Kingsbury because there is so much to do from here.

We love visiting Kingsbury because there is so much to do from here. You leave the car parked and walk the dog or cycle many different routes. Get in the car and you have easy access to many attractions in the local area within half an hour to 45 minutes drive. Must recommend the Dog and Doublet pub which is walkable down the canal. Great food at reasonable prices and they allow you to take your dog inside!! Incidentally, Jackson's of Old Arley is an excellent camping and caravanning shop about 20 minutes drive away if you need to get any spares.
