Overview

This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operates under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.

We are a family run livestock farm with a 0.5 acre site situated on the edge of the pretty village of Withybrook. The site overlooks fields of sheep and lambs with a brook running alongside the village as well as plenty of footpaths and bridleways for some lovely country walks. The village Pub is 500 yards from the site and serves delicious home cooked food, there is also a Church and a children’s play area. Approximately 2.5 miles away in Stretton under Fosse is a fantastic Farm Shop selling local produce and PYO strawberries etc. Other attractions include a fishing lake 0.5 mile away in the tiny hamlet of Hopsford, and within a 3 mile radius is a Golf course in the village of Ansty and Riding Stables in Bretford, nr. Brinklow.

Easily accessible. Friendly and helpful owners. Nice field. Great pub just down the road.

Easily accessible. Friendly and helpful owners. Nice field. Great pub just down the road. Will definitely visit again. We were looking for a relaxing chilled out break and found it here at Westmead. With no shower or toilets its best suited to caravans.Friendly warm welcome from Katy. Plenty of places to explore with our 6 year old boy. The pub was friendly with a great range of beers and good food. But book in advance as it gets busy at the weekends. Looking forward to our next visit in October.

Arriving..

This review is for Westmead Farm

Arriving..the entrance is exactly just on the bend as you leave Withybrook you actually make the right turn for the entrance. It's easy to miss. The field is the gateway immediately on your left as you enter the main gate. Nowhere to report to so best phone if nobody spotted your arrival. Minimal facilities but fine if you've got your own loo. Made to feel very welcome. Field not flat but fine if you pick your spot and good tv reception. Always a plus to have a pub nearby . .the Pheasant is a pleasant pub but mainly an eatery and not cheap..menu online. Nice walks around and saw kingfisher on Withybrook's brook.

A lovely site and lovely family welcome. The site is really quiet and very rural. Katy and family were very kind, extremely friendly and informative of what was around the area. Katy popped round each day to make sure we were fine. We had a lovely stay (albeit short), but will definitely return. We cannot recommend it enough. Dog walks plentiful too. We didn't visit the pub - but may well do next time!
