Overview

Please note: Walton On Thames is a Member Only Site.

Please note that this site has no toilet or showers, so you will need suitable facilities in your unit.

A tranquil, traditional campsite within the M25 motorway, which has been in the Club's care for more than 90 years.

Our pretty Walton Thames Club campsite ticks all the boxes for campers wishing to experience the hustle and bustle of the capital but camp in the more relaxed setting of the countryside. You would hardly know this leafy green oasis is located within London’s orbital M25 motorway.

The campsite is well laid out and surprisingly tranquil and spacious. There’s an excellent dog walk on site and numerous opportunities for dogs and walkers to stretch their legs off site, including a pleasant riverside walk into Hersham. Look out for the site’s resident parakeets.

Horse riding, golf, Nordic walking and llama trekking are all activities that can be enjoyed within the vicinity of the campsite.

Train stations at nearby Walton on Thames and Hersham make London and its attractions very easily accessible. Family days out not in the capital can be enjoyed at Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland theme parks. The popular Hampton Court and Claremont Landscape Garden are close by.

It is possible to walk to the train station and parking also possible. I drove into Fulham which only took 40 minutes. Croydon ikea was also 40 mins away. Great connections but in the middle of no where. I'm a single parent and found the support very helpful.

cant fault the site or staff in anyway, had a great 3 nights there, and the staff were so helpfull as i were running late, you would not think you were so close to london, just fab, only thing to note is when you are coming up the lane just near the last houses on your left, there is a huge pothole and when its full of water you dont know how deep it is, and its deep ? will be going back again for sure with my little teardrop

Although no toilet or shower facilities it was fine for two or three nights.

Although no toilet or shower facilities it was fine for two or three nights. Lots of space and lots of walks on the common. Easy to get to shops in Walton and train to London from nearby Hersham Station. No problem finding the site which is tucked away from busy roads. Warden helpful and shop had ice creams and milk. And biscuits for dogs! Much appreciated. We were happy.
