We wlaked the Millenium trail around the village which was very interesting and ended at the pub for an evening Thai meal. Met some locals with their tales adding to the entertainment.

The brown camping sign when approaching from the A3 direction is obscured by trees. The showers and toilets are adequate and clean but like a lot of camp sites would benefit from complete modernisation and updating. The grass areas would also benefit from being reseeded in the off season to improve the quality of the grass. Lovely lake which is well stocked for the fishermen and there are many National Trust Houses and Wisley in the vicinity to visit.Delightful play area for the children.

A good location for those wishing to escape to the 'country' for a few days, easily reachable from London or surrounding towns. I only live half an hour's drive from the site but needed to get away from work pressures and just relax for a couple of days. This place did the trick. Several good scenic walks, interesting local history and / or casual cycle rides in the locality, plus for those who don't want to burn all their own food on the barbecue the Kirthon Indian Restaurant just down the road has to be amongst the best in the country - small, but excellent food and service. Saw several attractive looking pubs in the wider area too but I don't do pubs so can't comment on that. All in all I can't fault the experience. Particularly since being an idiot I turned up at the site a week earlier than I'd booked but they still fitted me in:)
