Arrival was great - Aussie lady and Kiwi gent were great with everything.
Last night there was not so good as wife had international flight at 8am, so needed 5am start. As the gates do not open before 7am ( why - for staff ?), an officious lady declined a request for power in carpark for HSE reasons but there is a fish and chip van with power connection from standard 4 outlet power site opposite Reception where we easily could have parked.
Having paid for power, I would have thought just a little bit of common sense would have been better than her attitude that did not help me as a member.
I query the locking of the gates as Emergency services need immediate access.

We went to Legoland, Hatchlands Park for the bluebells, and by train from Weybridge to London. Hint - If you can book your tickets through thetrainline.com. Go off peak. We booked a train for 9.35 up to Waterloo. We asked for a day pass for the underground as well so it was all on one ticket. We just had to go to a machine to enter our card and pick up tickets. I think we paid about 13.50 each so very good value. Try to avoid the rush hour leaving and coming back to the site. HIghley recommended.

Stayed 2 nights at Easter with our 2 grandchildren age 4 & 8 in camper van with awning.
Site was busy but remained peaceful, pitches arewell spaced out and all the amenities were spotlessly clean, warm, and well lit.
Being beside the river was lovely and there was plenty of signage and safety info to remind parents to maintain children's safety near the water.
Our 2 loved the play area and quickly made friends to play with.
The team of staff were friendly efficient and helpful and did a great job of keeping everywhere clean tidy and well stocked.
My only mini suggestion for improvement would be to increase the timed bursts of water from 30 seconds to a minute at least in the ladies showers! I do understand and support the need to not waste water, but trying to wash long hair in 30 second bursts was a little trying.
We would definitely stay at this site again and would recommend to others. GOOD WORK TEAM CHERTSEY.
