Very warm welcome, we were asked if we would like a pitch by the river and glad we did.

Very warm welcome, we were asked if we would like a pitch by the river and glad we did. Although not far from the main road it was quiet where we were situated. The site is very clean and tidy and shower block cleaned regularly. Plenty of walks on the tow path, we picked up a leaflet in the office with recommended walks. The walk to Shepperton is lovely and a pub by the lock called Thames Court, sit and have a drink outside and watch the boats go by. Chertsey centre about 25 minute walk where you will find Sainsbury's. Fish and Chip van on site at the weekends. You also get a discount for meals in the pub almost next door ( The Boat House). Will definitely be back for another visit.

Been on this site several times over the years. It did not change a lot.

Been on this site several times over the years. It did not change a lot. Site needs urgent upgrade on Toilets and Shower facility and free WIFI. The so called super Pitches are standard on many other campsites and there is more Privacy round the Pitches too. The opening times of the reception need urgently reviewing.

This is known as " The Friendly Club " and the staff at Chertsey live up to that well deserved reputation. The site benefits from a continuing series of improvements, those problems with the plumbing are strictly temporary. Everyone is welcomed, all the staff work bloody hard to keep everything running smoothly. Any caveats? I wish there was a short cut to the pub which is literally but not pedestrianly next door.

The site is easy to access without going too far into London.

This review is for Chertsey

The site is easy to access without going too far into London. Despite some noise it is restful and a visit to central London is quick and easy by train. Quickest from Weybridge station (good parking 6 all day and spaces usually available - but long walk to ticket machine) and a very helpful booking office. Surrounding area pleasant with riverside walks. Private drive through middle of site may confuse on arrival, turn left just inside entrance.
