Chertsey is on the banks of the Thames, just a 30-minute train ride from London.

This lovely riverside campsite is an oasis in the suburbs. It has a really rural feel yet is just a 30-minute train ride to London from the Weybridge station. It’s also perfectly placed for visiting some of the country’s best-loved theme parks (Lego Land, Thorpe Park and Chessington), as well as the world-famous Kew, Wisely and Savill gardens. Hampton Court and Chelsea flower shows are also within easy reach from here.

This popular site is on the banks of the River Thames. Bag yourself a riverside pitch and watch the many pleasure craft sail by. Canoeists can launch from here, while walkers will enjoy the Thames Path Nature Trail, a towpath leading to Staines.

The sheltered site provides great facilities for campers, including a games room with TV and table tennis table.

Worth Noting

The site is outside the Congestion Charge and Low Emission Zones. Fishing is available 16 June-15 March. Towcars must remain on site overnight (due to the possibility of flooding). Super Service pitches have TV aerial sockets. The Weybridge station is located 4 Miles from the campsite. Those with motorhomes who wish to use this station are advised to use a taxi when possible

WiFi

100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora or fauna. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.

Eat Local

The farm shop in Lyne sells a range of home-grown fruit and vegetables as wellas goose eggs, fresh bread, chutney, jams and more.

this is a great site, we have stayed here twice now.

this is a great site, we have stayed here twice now. We didn't enjoy our first stay last year although we thought we would give it one more chance, thankfully the C&CC policy on changing personnel has worked in our favour. The staff were much friendlier, the site was cleaner and the overall experience was great. i have two kids 11 & 4 and both loved the site. it is only 1 mile from Thorpe Park, 3 mile from Lego Land and 10 miles from Chessington. Local transport links to London and Windsor are great, there is a local Sainsburys and good food outlets in the town centre. there is a small garage across the road which is ideal for emergency supplies.

An excellent base for the Legoland, Chesington & Thorpe park theme parks.

An excellent base for the Legoland, Chesington & Thorpe park theme parks. The site is very well maintained. We did not find the noise of flights or motorway intrusive. For travelling to London we drove to Hatton Park underground at Heathrow. Plenty of parking at 11/day and about 20/day on 2 oyster cards allowed us to travel there and back and also hop around central London by bus/tube frequently. Children under 11 travel free with an adult oyster card holder. We would definitely use this site again.

Nice walks along the Thames.

Nice walks along the Thames. The BP garage across the road provides a convenient shop for provisions, newspapers, etc. Good pub on the other side of Chertsey Bridge (The Kingfisher) which serves good food and has a decent choice of ales.

Having stayed for one night we couldn't wait to move off having booked in for two.

Having stayed for one night we couldn't wait to move off having booked in for two. No lighting around site, no shop so very basic. The one most important thing is the noise from the M25! Absolutely horrendous, may as well have been on it. Coming from living near a busy road to this was unbelievable! Didn't sleep all night so if its peace your after no chance. The site was spotless and toilets etc and friendly staff but the road noise is a definate no no.
