We have been visiting this site for the past four years since joining the club and getting our first caravan, the location is superb being in the middle of Cannock Chase. Waking daily to the peace and quiet, walking over the many tracks and pathways, and still finding new ones, but all looking different with the seasons. The site is spacious, spotlessly clean, and Pat is very welcoming to all who arrive. Pies, cakes and crumbles, all made with seasonal fruit, generally they don't last long though,it seems everyone waits for them to come out and they quickly get taken, fresh eggs, bacon and sausages etc in the fridge/freezer and an honesty tin to pay. The main gate is secured with a coded lock with a pedestrian gate to the side for easy walking/cycle access. Local shops are 5 minutes drive if you need them. The site is perfect for a relaxing break or if feeling more adventurous there are many walks and cycle paths just outside the main gate. Dogs are very welcome and enjoy the long daily walks across the chase. Will be returning again soon and would definitely recommend to others

Quiet, peaceful and beautifully kept grass pitches.

Quiet, peaceful and beautifully kept grass pitches. Made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. Well placed to visit many of the local attractions situated within Cannock Chase and further afield Shugborough Hall, The National Memorial Arboretum to name but a few. Pat made us most welcome and bakes wonderful sweet and savory pies, free range fresh eggs are available most days. Peacocks calling from the adjacent woodland and the rustle of a gentle breeze through the leaves of the surrounding birch trees is the closest thing to "noise" on this wonderfully relaxing site. That said, it is a fantastic base to set off on the many cycle routes and countryside walks that are all around here. This is really is a hidden gem of a site, in truth I didn't want to give such a good review, because if more people discover it i'm sure I will struggle to get on again due to over demand. Fantastic views, tranquil setting and not forgetting Pat and her baking.
