We had the pleasure of staying in August 2011 before becoming a member.I found that the access was great with no problems at all. Check in at the Farm house & be welcomed by the friendliest dog I have ever met! Plenty of space to navigate your van. Great owners, very help full. You can even have some Pears from the tree! There is loads of farm area for kids to explore and play. This is a working farm, which is so good to see. There are some great walks in the woods which my 2 year old loved. Local facilities included A large Tesco just 10 min drive away. includes local shops also. Loads to do round the area.Would def stay there again year after year.

This is a lovely little site with a fabulous view over staffordshire. There is a small, very clean toilet and shower block. The toilet, shower and sink were all in the same large cubicle; and there were 4 of these. This did mean a queue in the morning if you just wanted the loo as you had to wait for folks to finish showering. There is a kitchen room with a microwave, toaster, freezer and fridge. Very handy for those in tents. Owners were very flexible for arriving and departure times if the pitch was not already booked. I would go again.

Situated on a farm on top of a valley with lovely views of countryside, but as very windy awning could not be put up and any tents really suffered as there was nothing to stop the buffeting wind. Access was up an awful bumpy cracked concrete single track. There was a sign saying to check into farm house first before siting van, bad mistake, we had to do a u-turn on small farm courtyard, managed to hit van on gate! Site was clean and well presented with two toilets and showers per gender. Indoor washing up facilities were provided together with a fridge, freezer, kettle and microwave and even washing up liquid (though some campers were not very fair about cleaning up any mess they made, not the owners fault). Kids enjoyed fishing on pond - tickets £5 for day for adults. Major disappointment was that there was no where for the kids to play, you would think that being on a farm, a small area could be made available for kids to kick a ball, or just sit and play, that really spoilt the place for us. Nearby is Sudbury Hall and we would definately recommend a visit especially to Museum of Childhood, had a great day out there. After getting groceries, we did not want to venture into Uttoxeter again, though there is a good butchers there. Would not visit again, though if you had no kids, it would be an ideal place to get away from it all.
