Overview

  • A popular site for families

    Great site for families

A theme park, the nearby snow dome and National Forest make this a popular family site.

One of the country’s top theme parks and zoo is located right next door to this Club Site in the Midlands. Our site at Drayton Manor is ideal for families who want to make the most of the popular attraction. Similarly, those wanting a base to explore the area’s other attractions – how about Cadbury World, the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas, National Forest or Tamworth with its castle and Snow Dome - would be equally at home at here too.

The open and slightly sloping campsite in a peaceful location has 90 pitches, a large facilities block and washing up area, well-run shop and children’s play area. But its biggest appeal is its proximity to the theme park.

There is no shortage of thrills and spills at Drayton Manor with rides to suit everyone from the thrilling white knuckle Maelstrom and Apocalypse to the more sedate traditional carousel ride and Thomas Land attraction with 12 wonderful Thomas-themed rides and indoor play area.

Please note that the Theme Park is fully booked on the 14th September 2014.

Please be aware the "Ride to the Wall" event is taking place in the area on Friday 3rd & Saturday 4th October 2014. Please contact the site directly to make a booking on 01827 260 617

Brilliant site, easy to find and get to.

This review is for Drayton Manor

Brilliant site, easy to find and get to. Check in was easy and the guys there are really friendly and helpful showing us to our pitch and explaining where everything was. Couldn't fault the site at all, place was spotless. Plenty of hot water for hand washing showers and washing up, although the water was very hot in the taps be careful with children, their were plenty of signs to say it was hot though. Lovely park for the kids to play on and plenty of other kids to make friends. Site is literally a 5 min walk from entrance 2 to the theme park and they will stamp your hand for you to go in and out. We had a fantastic stay here and all really enjoyed this site, only bad thing was we had only booked 2 nights! Thank you

From the first second you pull up here, you are made to feel welcome.

This review is for Drayton Manor

From the first second you pull up here, you are made to feel welcome. Just outside the gate is grey, black and fresh water faciliteys, handy to get that out of the way first beside that are the bins and recycling then through the barrier theres the small shop with those odd wee thing you would need .Straight ahead on your left is the toilet and shower blocks which are routinely cleaned a few times a day and are totaly spottless and warm.lots of local information leaflets available, the site is on a gentle slope and well laid out with plenty of space between pitches. I had my grandchildren and having a couple of acres pegged of next to the piches was nice for them to play on without being to close to anoy others.. my kids found the place exciteing with the park next door were I found it very relaxing, I'd just drove from co.down to euro disney and this was our return leg 1200 mile so far so I was tired and just to chill out which was no problem in this place, excitement and peace and quiet in one place. We planned to stop over 1 night on our way home taking in the theme park but ended up staying 3 nights because of the campsite..The thing that realy makes this place special are the people that manage it , there attention to the small things and the attitude of nothings to small when it comes to help, this trip we were just passing through next year we are making this place our destination..A big heart felt thank you from myself and family to you guys and all your unseen effort that made my trip no effort Thanks Brian..

We received a fantastic welcome from Julian and the team, nothing was too much trouble.

We received a fantastic welcome from Julian and the team, nothing was too much trouble. The site was lovely and tidy and had everything we needed for our first caravan adventure. The location of this site was simply excellent; we towed from Swindon, spent the week and returned home all one one tank of fuel! Tamworth venutra park is a 10min drive as is the snowdome...and there's plenty to do there! DMP is literally a 2 minute walk from the site and is a great park for all ages with some really cracking rides. There is also an excellent bar/grill onsite and as a camper you qualify for 20% discount. We're very much looking forward to returning to this site next year.
