Overview

  • A popular site for families

    Great site for families

A theme park, the nearby snow dome and National Forest make this a popular family site.

One of the country’s top theme parks and zoo is located right next door to this Club Site in the Midlands. Our site at Drayton Manor is ideal for families who want to make the most of the popular attraction. Similarly, those wanting a base to explore the area’s other attractions – how about Cadbury World, the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas, National Forest or Tamworth with its castle and Snow Dome - would be equally at home at here too.

The open and slightly sloping campsite in a peaceful location has 90 pitches, a large facilities block and washing up area, well-run shop and children’s play area. But its biggest appeal is its proximity to the theme park.

There is no shortage of thrills and spills at Drayton Manor with rides to suit everyone from the thrilling white knuckle Maelstrom and Apocalypse to the more sedate traditional carousel ride and Thomas Land attraction with 12 wonderful Thomas-themed rides and indoor play area.

Ready Camp is available at this campsite.

We stay here regularly because we have family nearby.

We stay here regularly because we have family nearby. Its a great site with first class facilities, that are always clean and tidy. The staff make you feel really welcome, and are so helpful with whatever issue you may have. It's by Drayton Manor Park grounds so is really handy for the park, and the hotel and restaurants .You even get a 20% off voucher for the restaurants which are well worth a visit. Tamworth is minutes away, and Birmingham is close by. We will certainly be visiting again. 5 Star.

Really friendly and helpful wardens (probably the best I have come across on all campsites!).

Really friendly and helpful wardens (probably the best I have come across on all campsites!). Great toilet/ shower facilities (really clean) and great location. Very easy and straightforward access. Next door to Drayton Manor Park. Playground (not huge) but there was a dedicated area for ball games and cycles. Site was relatively full for February (it was half term) but very quiet in the evenings.

Stayed 1 night as family where staying in the parks hotel, met up for a meal at the Grill Inn, with the 20% discount it was very reasonable. the site is well laid out, very warm welcome on arrival shown to pitch. The dog walk was very welcome as no one had mentioned it in past reviews. very clean shower block. would definitely use this site again its position is ideal for those wanting a stop over on the way north or south.

A very impressive site, set in Drayton Manor, but extremely quite, lovely for families as there is a very good play area, it also feels very safe. The wardens are some of the most pleasant we've encountered...very helpful....we would highly recommend this site, but booking during school holidays is essential....will we be back....? YES we will.
