This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operates under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.

Dog walks and footpaths are on your doorstep as are Woodpeckers, Kingfishers, Sparrow Hawks and Swans to name but a few. Birdwatching is very popular. Stabling is available should you decide to bring along your equestrian friend. Within walking distance there is a dog friendly pub offering food all day. A little bit further in Brown Edge village is a supermarket and a wonderful café. Market town Leek 5 miles away. The Peak District and Alton Towers are close by, as is Rudyard Lake and its steam railway, Churnet Valley Steam Railway, Trentham Gardens, Monkey Forest, Biddulph Grange Gardens. M6 - 15 minutes.

Little bit of tight turn in gate, but we managed so anyone can.

Little bit of tight turn in gate, but we managed so anyone can. If there had been a shower block that would have been a definite plus. Such beautiful views and tranquil. We had the site to our selfs. Once this site is found by others I don't think we will be alone too often. Many lovely walks on the flat or hills, beautiful pond with pitches for fishing not sure if anyone can use it but worth asking. Reservoir walking distance take lovely pics. Pub about 1mile away up hill though. Pitches with hook up,tables and benches placed at intervals. We sat out playing scrabble in the evening very pleasant.

A true Gem of a Site! We stayed Midweek and had the Site to ourselves. Run by a very welcoming, hardworking couple who have put a lot of thought and effort into it! 5 pitches with the option of electric, you pay only for what you use which works out surprising inexpensive! Great location for walking and just over a mile away from the "The Top Pub" which is dog friendly, people friendly and serves excellent food! We will definitely be back!
