Two holiday caravans available to let - find out more. Some pitches are slightly sloping. Due to unforeseen circumstances we are no longer able to give campers access to the dog walk along the drovers track at the bottom of our site. However there are many public footpaths in the area, the closest of which is opposite the entrance to our site. Please note that there may be sheep, cattle or horses in the fields, and your dog must be kept on a lead. The footpaths may become very muddy during wet weather, so stout shoes or wellingtons are recommended.
WiFi is available at this site. However please note the service is supplied by a different provider therefore your Site WiFi card (powered by WiComs) cannot be used. Please contact the site direct for more information.
The site shop stocks locally-produced bacon, sausage, lamb, burgers, chicken, eggs, cheese, cider and ales. Bread and pastries are baked on site. There is a farm butcher next to site and a farmers’ market in Wells. The village pubs serve local produce.

I had a most welcoming welcome, the Wardens could not be more helpful if they had tried!
I really felt like I was being looked after and not just another punter coming to stay.
I will be back and recommending also!!

As a dog owner I found that the lack of any dog walking facilities a real let down . The main walk on the site is closed , this is clearly explained on the booking , but there are no walks near the site . The public footpath across the road seems to be deliberately blocked with heavy blocks in the soil , then the field is full of cows and a bull ! .
If you walk down the road there are again public footpaths but these are blocked by high stones walls or completely overgrown . Now I understand the camp site can not be held responsible for these paths but visitors need to appreciate that dog walking on the road seems to be the only option available , its not over busy but is used constantly by local traffic and farm vehicles.
Site was fine but chose another if you have dogs with you would be my advice .

“Had a wonderful 4 days at this lovely site.
Bakery on site so had fresh croissants and pain au chocolat for final day breakfast. Also tried the local pub for great food, beer and cider and a short walk home to walk it off! Highly recommended.”
